Mock Meet Results
Shark Families,
I want to thank all the parents and volunteers who helped with our first mock meet. This was not an easy task, and we would not have been able to make this happen without your support! I know many of you took on new roles for the first time, but I was extremely impressed with how our meet went. This was our first swim meet ever as a team! It was a great learning experience for all swimmers and parents, and it will only improve from here! I would also like to express a huge thank you to our swim team board for being so supportive of this team. They go above and beyond 24/7 looking to help in any way they can.
Congratulations to all swimmers who swam at this meet! I saw great times and great sportsmanship throughout the pool, and I am so proud of everyone. I would also like to give a special shoutout to swimmers Mia Feinmel, Evelyn Gomez, Lorenzo Gomez, Lily Lime, and Samantha Boggs for stepping up and being great teammates. These swimmers swam in not only their age group relay, but also the age group above so that everyone on the team could swim a relay at this mock meet. Make sure to congratulate these swimmers if you see them around the pool!
Please remember to sign up your children for our very first meet against South Hampton and Heritage Landing by noon today. Our results from yesterday’s mock meet should be posted late today. I will be entering everyone’s meet entries this evening and should have an individual events sheet posted by tomorrow night containing everyone’s events. If you or your swimmer are not comfortable with an event they are swimming, please email me with any questions or concerns. PLEASE make sure to sign your swimmers up by noon. I will be unable to add any swimmers once the entries are submitted due to the way the three teams will need to merge their information as it would cause problems.
