    RiverTown Meet Recap

Thank you all the swimmers that participated this past Saturday. We scored the most points in team history, including breaking an incredible 19 team records!

Congratulations to Chloe Boggs and Nate Bowman for scoring first place in overall male/female meet points! While we were just short in overall team points against RT, our girls/women beat the opposing team for the first time in team history. Thank you to our coaching staff for their leadership and dedication! Our swimmers couldn't do this without them.

We have grown from the smallest team to THE quickest growing team in the league over the past year alone. We have always had incredible talent and coaching, but this year we are much more competitive because of POWER IN NUMBERS.  For instance, finishing both second and third place in an event is worth more in team points than a single first place finish. For example, the Sharks can win first place in every single event, but will lose in overall team points if we don't have enough swimmers participating to finish 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and beyond. We can only compete with the large teams in the league if everyone declares and participates. Please declare your swimmer, sign up for a job, and let's show Heritage Landing this Saturday how the Sharks attack!

Meet results are officially accessible through the SwimTopia Mobile app and are attached to this email. Also, we will be running Saturday's home meet with SwimTopia's Meet Maestro, which means you will be able to access heat sheets directly through the mobile app with real time updates! While not required, the PRO version is extremely useful with features such as live event/heat tracker and live results updates.

The Shark Bites Newsletter will be sent out within the next day or so following up with Coach Amelia's meet prep email at the end of the week.

    Go Sharks!
