Meet Day

• Please check in between 6:30-7:00am. We will take our team photo at 7:15am, so be ready (and early)!
• Heat Sheets are available in the Swimtopia App and our Shearwater Sharks Website. We advise that you print out the heat sheets to follow along... or simply follow along in the SwimTopia App!
• What to Write on Your Swimmer?
  • Use a Sharpie and write the following information on your swimmer’s right shoulder blade:
  • Last Name, First Initial (i.e. – Doe, J)
  • Underneath write SWS
  • On one of their arms, write the following information for their races, one line per race:
    • Event #, Heat #, Lane #, Stroke. See pic below:
    • Caps and T Shirts will be issued at check in. The only equipment you will need is goggles, swim cap, and suit.

• Concessions will be available but bring snacks and drinks for hydration. We will be out there for a while!!
• Parents can bring their own tents and chairs to set up a "tent city" in the event lawn area. This is where you will stay in between your childs events.
• The pool deck will have one side designated for spectators. As a courtesy, we ask that you only utilize that space when your child about to swim. This way it allows all families to see their child swim.
  • **This does not apply to volunteers, they can roam freely and will have a badge for their designated areas** 4. Check in starts at 630!!
• ABSOLUTELY NO PHOTOS BEHIND THE STARTING BLOCKS!

What should I pack for the Meet?

• swimsuit
• caps (you’ll get one tomorrow, but always good to have spares)
• goggles (they seem to break when you least expect it, so spares help)
• towels
• sweatshirt/pants (keep those muscles warm in between swims)
• water and snacks
• heat sheet
• sharpie (to write on your swimmer)
• chairs, tent, blanket, etc (to setup in Tent City, which will serve as your family’s home base during the meet)
• games, coloring books, etc to entertain your family while waiting for events.
