Dear Shearwater Sharks Families,

As we close out 2025, the Sharks would like to share an important program update with our families.

Coach Jordan Bright has announced his retirement from coaching and shared the following message:

“On behalf of Molly and myself, I would like to thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to helping make the last couple of seasons successful for our kids. I would like to formally announce my retirement from coaching. I have enjoyed all 64 of my seasons over the last 30 years, especially the last two as a ‘Shark.’ The dedication and organization of this team is unsurpassed, and I truly enjoyed the opportunities and successes we accomplished together. The time has come to focus on different endeavors, including much-needed travel time. Best of luck next summer, as I’m confident your program will continue to flourish!”

We are incredibly grateful for Coach Bright’s years of dedication, leadership, and commitment to our athletes and wish him nothing but the best in this next chapter.

The Board has been working diligently to ensure a smooth transition and is excited to share that plans are already in place for the future of the program. We look forward to announcing our new coaching staff soon — stay tuned for an upcoming announcement.
