Get Ready — Our Mock Meet is Tomorrow!
We’re thrilled for an exciting day at the pool and can’t wait to see all our amazing swimmers in action! To help the day run smoothly, here are a few important reminders and tips to ensure everyone is set up for success:
Arrival & Check-In
All swimmers and volunteers must arrive between 6:30-6:45 AM to check in at the welcome table. Swimmers will receive their team swim caps and shirts upon arrival — let’s gear up and show our team spirit! We ask that all swimmers check in at this time, regardless of when their event is. This will be for ALL the meets in order for your swimmer to swim in his or her event.
Team Photo Time!
Right after check-in, we’ll gather for a team photo at approximately 7:00 AM. Make sure your swimmer is suited up and ready to smile!
Warm-Ups & Start Time
Warm-ups will kick off close to 7:15 AM, followed by the start of the meet at 8:00 AM. Let’s be on time and ready to dive in!
Getting to the Meet
Parking is limited, so we kindly ask families to walk, bike, or use a golf cart if possible. Thank you for helping us keep things safe and smooth!
⛺️Tent City — Our Home Base for the Day
Set up your space in the field behind the pool next to the playground. Don’t forget to bring:
- Tents & chairs
- Sunscreen & bug spray
- Snacks, drinks, and fun activities to keep the day lively!
We kindly ask all families to stay within the designated spectator viewing areas. The designated viewing area is along the pool side adjacent to the pavilion. We will have it roped off, so you will know where to be! Behind the starting blocks and the area adjacent to the lazy river is off limits! Please, no photography behind the starting blocks.
☕There will be concessions available! and Yes, there WILL be coffee!✨
Event Markings
Attached you’ll find details on how to mark your swimmer’s arm for events. Be sure to refer to the heat sheet we shared for event numbers, heats, and lanes.
🔍 How to find your heat sheet on the website:
On the Shearwater Sharks website, click the menu and go to Schedule then go to Events & Meet Schedule. Once the heat sheet is available, a link will appear under the posted meet that you can click to view the heat sheet.
